Inside of the walls, many different species can be found. They are not considered monsters, unless they have a self-awareness and consciousness like a human's. These creatures will be listed below.
(of course, all of these things exist outside of the walls, too. more will be added as the site develops.)
Fauna:
Bantam Dragon:
These miniature dragons aren't too horribly dangerous. Their abilities depend on their element; some can breathe fire, some ice. Some have other abilities, such as digging out great caves into the earth, or breathe underwater.
Dragons:
These are considerably more dangerous than the bantams. They are extremely rare, and if one is spotted, a group of monster hunters will be sent after it to hunt it down and kill it.
Cano Wolf:
These large wolves generally stick to the mountains. They form small packs of two or three, or stay on their own. They generally avoid humans, but they can be tamed. They can be saddled and used as mounts.
Alger Tiger:
Lurking mainly in Cenek's forest and the mountains, these large tigers are deeply respected and beloved by the people. They are even worshiped by some people. They can be trained as mounts, but only those in power use them.
Rolay:
These bulls and cows are kept by farmers for milk, horns and meat. The bulls are sometimes trained and ridden, but often, they are too rough and don't like being reigned, making trained ones expensive.
Ambise:
Enormous snakes with golden scales. Their bites are venomous if not immediately treated, but they don't bite unless provoked. Hard to kill. The head still can bite after being chopped off, and will eventually regenerate its body. Skins sell for hundreds of gold.
Sato Pigs:
These larger-than-regular, five hundred pound pigs can provide bacon and ham for entire families. They are more expensive than regular pigs, making them harder to obtain. Their sausages are a delicacy.
Albino Stags:
Both male and female deer of this breed have antlers, which begin growing days after birth. They become huge racks, often up to 20 points per antler. The deer are deeply respected, and only hunted when the population grows too thick.
Flora:
Star Cane:
These waterside reeds are ground up into a pulp, and then rubbed on wounds. It relieves pain, and if eaten, it is a great sedative.
Altone:
This spice is grown by farmers, generally, and is great for spicing food. It also sells for a good amount of gold.
Chalvine:
This herb is good at calming people down. If taken in higher doses, it can instantly put a stop to an anxiety attack.
Ambise Syrup:
This syrup comes from the celedo trees, and if applied immediately to a ambise bite, it can neutralize the poison.
Celedo Tree Bark:
This tree bark, when brewed into tea, kills illness-causing bacteria and boosts the patient's immune system, helping fight sickness off.
Chick Leaves:
These are eaten to sooth stomachs.
Clazon:
The leaves of this plant are smoked, making the smoker high. The drug is perfectly okay, not causing any harm to the person. It actually benefits the person by easing any pain they may have, as well as fighting off the effects of aging, such as arthritis or looking older.
Clazon Roots:
These roots are often cooked into meals. They are very tasty and rich in nutrients.
Celedo Berries:
The berries of the celedo tree are very sweet and delicious. They make delicious snacks, often a side to meals.
